M'bah NSW Photos

Saturday Sept 3rd and i can say without question i am now sorted and ready for whatever life throws at me.
The past week has been a whirlwind with lots of changes, some good some not so good but all in the past and finished. Hopefully the van will go for a while now and not need any work done.
Set up in the Murr'bah showground Great campsite with good amenities and excellent hosts. I have already met a fellow ROLLER, Kelly,

Had happy hour with Bronwyn, Sandy and Caroline, lovely ladies who have been travelling for a good few years and had some interesting stories and places to visit.
Nice clean area with hot showers and lots of campers.  Happy hour daily at 4.30 might just go today and see what it's like.
Walk into town this morning, uphill going in but a breeze coming home lol.
Sunday will be planning day, check out the maps and see where takes my fancy.
CHEERS

First 2 weeks out there.Photos

Well what a bumpy ride that has been! !!!!!
Loads of things have happened, some good, some not so good but it s time to begin the adventure. Not sure  if this is a good bit but I have a new Iphone (dropped my other one). Someone else has it now so i hope they enjoy it. 2003 model so it was time to upgrade. Now I just have to learn how to use it. Spent  some time on the coast  to get started
Always a beautiful Maggie to be seen.

Fun on the water

So relaxing

Lots of $$$$ spent on the motor so I trust it will get me a few kilometers  down the track. First night out of QLD last night so it's all forward going now.
I decided the kayak would be too bulky for me to handle alone so if the opportunity presents itself I will hire one to have some fun. Got a basket for the roof rack instead.

Met some other solo travelers but only one ROLLER, Kelly recognised my van by the flowers and came to say hello. Had happy hour with Bronwyn, Sandy and Caroline and swapped some stories and tips. We all promised to meet up again.
Shared breakfast with a headache but soon sent it on its way.  Lots of rearranging  and a walk into town filled the day. Enough of those walks and i will be back to a 12 lol
Sitting to have lunch and there were a couple of cheeky MAGPES come to say they were hungry,  one thought he would share my chair and actually flew up onto the arm. Frightened the Bejezus out of me so that didn't last long.

Happy hour tonight at the shed, lots of campers joined in.
Spending a couple more nights here (I enjoyed a nice warm shower today so that deserves another day or two and I can finish charging the SOLAR. Camp is at Murr'bah showground and is nice and clean.  Not bad for $15 per night.
CHEERS until next session.
Here comes the night

Festival of lights was amazing
