THE NORTH COAST MAKING TRACKS.

Early start today, not like me to be out and on the road at 7.30am.
Bye passed Halfway Creek camp to head for Bonnie Hills to meet up with Pete and called to check out the Big Banana on the way through.

 Gary and Kerry lost the lights on the bus. so we laid tracks to Forster to get them fixed. What a beautiful placeto visit. These photos are from the look out where you can see for miles.

There we met up with an old boxer friend of Gary's. Tommy who had many tales to tell. Tom is much respected in the boxing circles.

Time to kick off the Birthday BBQ before we head off again.

At the lookout at Forster.

Birthday BBQ 2017

On the highway going south and will have more to tell in a couple of days

Left Bulahdelah in the rain this morning after a shower at the show grounds.  That was interesting too; three showers and all open cubicles needlessto say it was a very quick shower.

Arrived at "TheRock"

Ballina [the first week}

After a long wait for everything to get sorted we are finally on the road. Ballina is not the best camp to sit in BUT circumstances decreed that it would happen.
It was an interesting week and we met "Garry Orris"  International poster award winner in New York.  He was a very interesting person to  talk to and he is currently spending time with family in Australia and cycling up the east coast. We swapped lots of stories.  He is an Aussie Artist who lives in Germany.

We left there one camper lighter and we are much better for the loss.  No room on the trip for toxic people.

Off now on the way south. THE SEASON IS THE REASON.
