BASS VALLEY RESERVE.

Had a trip into town and a look around YARRUM and TORRA and now time to settle into a new camp.
Bass Valley Reserve is nice and quiet but not as beautiful as the last spot.  Allowed to have fires here which is a suprise with all the trees around but it adds a good feel to a chilly night.

Bit close to the edge here

Nice river but the banks are cliff like.
Only here for two nights then off to a camp with waterfalls. Looking forward to that, should be a nice photo or 2.

TRUCK STOP MELBOURNE and Franklin reserve

A rough night with trucks unloading in the early hours and people partying in Hungry Jacks courtyard way into the night, not somewhere we will stay again. Looking forward to the hot shower after a wet week on the road only to be told the cleaners would be another hour hhmmmmm. Lucky I went first because even with a quick sower the hot water didn't last. Not to worry it really was relaxing.
ni
Time to rise and shine and go and suprise Tracy and Peter who think we are arriving on Wednesday.
Before I go on I must say the scenery has been stunning

Nice little cruize down the freeway and we spot the free camping Community Hotel.  Stop and take a photo send it to them and wait for the reaction. :) We have never been so welcomed anywhere in our travels like we were at Boolarra

Feeling just a wee bit cold in the wide open spaces but happy to be here.  Lots of catching up to do before we head off to Franklin River reserve for a couple of days.

Such a peaceful place to relax for a week before we head to Foster, just a few kilometres down the road on the way back to Melbourne for the first game of the season. (insert a smiley face here)

Plenty of time for UNO and YHATZEE* MUSIC, WINE AND CHEESE.

Cheers as I hit the sack to warm up :)
