Another hicup; this time a bit bigger but nothing that can't be fixed.  Service done on thursday ($200) and ready to go for a short trip, then BINGO .... blew a piston.

Sourced the only available secondhand motor in the area, less expensive than a rebuild, so hope I can get a good few klms out of it before I upgrade.

Thank you to my beautiful long time friend Judy for putting my travelling mate up for the week, that made it a bit less stressful. 

My Gr daughter']s wedding was beautiful and thanks to eye surgery I could see clearly :)  :)  :)
