Bendigo or Broken Hill

Well time came to leave Echuca but I wasn't quite finished with Victoria so when I reached the signposts Bendigo won the toss.
Excel l ent decision because when I drove through town I felt like I  could spend a few weeks here and not get bored.

First night was in a nice little camp at Huntly where I met Tanya and Milo who were on the way back to Tassmana. Tuesday morning I headed to Aysons Res where I will spend a couple of weeks whilst I do my siteseeing.

Met Margaret from Perth, who is also enroute to Tassie for a rally.

Camped nearby were a couple of Port Adelaide supporters, however they redeemed themselves when they sparked up my campfire. Also thank you Patrick for carrying some wood for me. With a decent  axe (not a tommahawk)  I feel sure Rob would have made the wood chopping look like easy work. Nice to meet you both BUT Go Pies.

Wednesday, as planned, Christine arrived. We had a nice relaxed afternoon chatting, Chris has been on the road for the same length of time that I have and is also enjoying the freedom that comes with travel.
We finished the day with a beer and christened the firepit. I should have gotten it off the roof rack ages ago.
More from Brndigo when the tablet is charged up plenty happening this weekend. Cheers.
Not much more to report from Aysons Res except that Chris and I spent two days talking and cooking on the firepit and both enjoyed the meetup very much.
I am looķing frward to catching up down the track.
