Still enjoying my travels although I have been hanging around
Canungra for a while now. Fun times over the Christmas season with our resident cleaners / musosFirst though, all the medical appointments are finished until around June, when I finally finish with the eye clinic.
It is a beautiful camp area at the Showgrounds here with extra clean ammenities and camp kitchen.the kitchen is home to our karaoke sessions where fun is had by all.
NO! I haven’t been brave enough to partake as of yet.I have been inspired though and as a result I can now at least play a few songs on my Ukulele.
There have been many fun and funny characters come through since I’ve been here and that’s what makes everyday a different experience.
We have had everything from the magician’s bus stuck in the mud after a few days of rain, to witches dancing around the campfire and beating their drums at full moon.
It is never dull.
There was even a bit of drama when a tree broke off and landed on a car. Luckily no one was injured.
My neighbour has been in bands all his adult life and has kindly taken me on as a “learn to play “ Guitar student. It will be slow going with these old fingers but it will be worth it.
Great birthday celebration with some friends.
