A week in Batemans Bay

32 years later and I find myself back in Batemans Bay and what a week it was.
Finally found out that the disused Bowls club is now used as a caravan park for short stays.
Met some great nomads there including Tracy and Phil
who have taken as long to leave the Bay as it took me to leave Brisbane. We shared a fantastic week watching whales at Malua Bay and also risking our lives at the top of a cliff.

Lord knows why we kept going when we saw the stairs but the view was worth it. Poor Tracy had the handrail come off in her hand on the way down but we were able to have a laugh, didn't see any whalesfrom up there though.
Next stop Moruya
where we stayed for the night and went kayaking  on the river. Well done me!!!!! First time for everything.

Every where we have been there have been  flocks of Magpies. They love me 😊 and they are beautiful.

Found a gorgeous boardwalk on the Morua river that took us to a cute little del

A loud mouthed hoon sent us away from there! Better to be safe than sorry.
Back to the Bowls club for a night where we met Bill. Wow how awesome was his rig!  Even had a button to lower and raise the bed.  Lounge room by day, bed room by night.
Friday set alarms bells ringing when the smell of petrol got too much so off to Phils mechanic. What a gem he was! Lunchtime Friday and he fit my car in to have an O ring replaced. Thanks to my mechanic at home I was very lucky it didn't catch fire.
Flat tablet more later about the trip down to Victoria.
