FINALLY OFF TO SEE SOME FOOTY..

There always has to be a first time and Sunday was the day to find the train station and head to the city.

This trip proved to be much easier than I had thought and I had no need to worry about my van not being there when I got back, although I shed a sigh of relief when I saw it sitting there, intact, waiting for me.

I had a late start and the trip took longer than expected but the Girl Pies were still playing when I finally got there. Loved being among my Collingwood family, friendly, excited and ready for the season where we all hope the "boys" will come out all fired up and playing like we know they can.

The return trip to Frankston was decision time and needless to say I decided to give the Big Lap a miss and stay here for the season.  GO THE MIGHTY MAGPIES.

Looking towards French Island

I have enjoyed travelling with Kerry and Gary from the start in Queensland and meeting up again with Peter and Tracy in Melbourne. Thank you guys and I hope we will meet up again somewhere down the track. You have been awesome company to travel with and I wish you all a safe adventure.

Bring on the next phase of my journey I am looking forward to it. Not sure how long I will stay in the freezing cold but time will tell.

Frankston Pier just a beautiful time of the day.

Cheers until next time and  stay happy :)
